Finitum analytics

Project year 2026

Cookie-free website analytics that makes traffic, sources and events easier to understand.

60 second pitch

What Finitum does.

Finitum is a Google Analytics alternative for website owners who want useful traffic insight without relying on cookies. It tracks visits, pages, sources, campaign parameters, session duration and custom events through a lightweight script.

The aim is not to drown people in analytics terminology. It gives founders, marketers and site owners a clearer view of what is working, where visitors are coming from and which actions are actually happening on the site.

Role

Product strategy, analytics model, tracking script and platform delivery

Sector

Privacy-focused analytics, website reporting and conversion insight

Stack

JavaScript tracker, beacon-based collection, campaign attribution, custom events, session timing and dashboard reporting

Product shape

Analytics is only useful when people can understand the signal quickly.

Finitum focuses on the practical questions site owners care about: who visited, where they came from, what they looked at, how long they stayed and which actions were fired. The platform gives that data a simpler operating shape than a heavyweight analytics product.

01

The problem

Website owners needed useful analytics without adding Google Analytics bloat or cookie friction.

Most businesses still need to know what is happening on their website: how many people visit, where they come from, which pages get attention and which actions matter. The problem is that traditional analytics tools can feel heavy, invasive or unnecessarily complicated for smaller sites.

Finitum was built around a simpler idea: give website owners the numbers they actually need, without relying on cookies and without forcing them into a dashboard full of noise.

02

Why it was built

Finitum gives teams a cleaner way to understand traffic, sources and important events.

The product is designed for site owners who want practical visibility: visitors, pageviews, referrers, campaign sources, landing pages, user journeys and events. It gives them a lightweight tracker they can install with a site ID and a reporting layer focused on the questions they ask every week.

Instead of trying to replicate every enterprise analytics feature, the value is in clarity. What changed? Where did traffic come from? Which pages are working? Which campaigns are sending useful visitors? Which events are being triggered?

03

How it works

A lightweight script records page activity, attribution and custom events.

The tracker captures pageviews, referrers, campaign query parameters, screen resolution, session identifiers and page duration. It can send data with browser beacons, handle history or hash-based single page apps, and avoid tracking when a visitor or site owner has opted out.

For product and marketing insight, the same script can fire custom events with structured payloads. That means a business can track important actions such as enquiries, CTA clicks, sign-ups or checkout steps without adding a large analytics stack.

04

Why it matters

Good analytics should help decisions, not create another system people avoid.

Finitum is about turning website traffic into something a business can understand quickly. It gives owners and teams a way to see performance, campaign sources and conversion signals without needing to become analytics specialists.

That matters because better data should change behaviour: improve landing pages, spot weak traffic sources, prove which content is working and make marketing conversations more honest.
